Tuesday and Wednesday this week are lobby days in our café, so if you are walking in the park it’s a great way to warm up. We’ve used local produce so it really is a taste of North Staffordshire! As we’re getting close to Christmas this seems like a good time to talk about some of the things going on around Apedale. The railway will be running their very popular Santa Special service (www.avlr.org.uk) again this year on the 14th, 15th, 21st and 22nd of December, it’s always one of the highlights of our year. In the country park on the 7th December, 10am to 3pm, you can take part in Mistletoe Magic. This is an opportunity to make Christmas decorations using natural materials from the park. This is run by the park, and takes place at the Countryside Workshop opposite the Heritage Centre.
