Queens Award for Voluntary ServiceOur team of enthusiastic volunteers aim to preserve and record the history and industries of the Apedale Valley, near to Newcastle-under-Lyme, and the surrounding communities. Based at the site of a former coal mine, we offer authentic underground tours, complemented by our museum and café. The Apedale Valley Railway operates at the same site, adding to a great family visit. More info...

Mine Tours
Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holiday Only, 11am to 3pm.
Children/OAPs £6.00 | Adults £10.00 | Family (2 Adult, 2 Child) £26.00

Children need to be at least 5 years old to enter the mine.
