Last night the Apedale Heritage Centre was honoured to be first runner up at the Sentinel Our Heroes Awards, in the “Community Group of the Year” category. The very deserving winners were Home-Start, and presenting the awards in this category was the Owner and chairman of Port Vale FC, Norman Smurthwaite.
