Congleton Players present “Brassed Off”

The Congleton players will be putting on a production of Brassed Off, 19th to 23rd April 2016, based on the successful film of the same name and a true story. Based in 1992, the play follows the members of Grimley Colliery Brass Band and their families at the pit is faced with closure, and the future of the Band in uncertain.
We were pleased to welcome the members of the company to the Heritage Centre today to have a look around, as will be working with them on props, giving technical advice and helping in any other way that we can.
The production will feature the Rode Hall Silver Band, joining the cast to play the classic brass band music featured in the film. (http://www.rodehallband.org.uk/)
