One man’s trash is another man’s treasure! If you are looking for an excuse to get rid of things you no longer require, or want to come and sell your goods, Apedale has the perfect event for you.

The Apedale Valley Light Railway has three such events through 2026 – on May 17 (when diesel trains will be running), on July 12 (when steam trains will be operating) and on September 13 (also steam). The site will be open from 8.30am for set up and buyers can arrive from 9.00am.

No need to book a pitch – there is plenty of space. There is no requirement to book in advance, and no requirement to pay in advance.

Toilets and refreshments will be available. Trains on the railway will start from 10.00.
