As the name suggests, this is the weekend when pretty much anything mechanical is unleashed on the Apedale site. Trains will be hauled by a mixture of steam locos and some of our huge collection of internal combustion machines. The event field will be full of stationary engines, old vehicles, pretty much anything mechanical. If you have an old machine which you’d like to bring along – we’d be delighted to see you. Trains will run from 1130 to 4pm on each day, and standard train fares are charged. There is no fee for train ticket holders to visit the event field area.
