Yesterday, we were presented with a cheque for £1000 by the North Staffordshire Winders Union who are dissolving their organisation. Representing the union are Bob Copeland (centre), Branch Secretary Delegate, and Eddie Coxon (right), trustee. Receiving the cheque is Dave Rushton, Chairman of the AHC Trustees. They are pictured in front of a memorial to the 1937 Holditch Colliery Disaster, just outside the Centre. Needless to say, we are very grateful for this generous donation from Bob, Eddie and their Union Colleagues. The money will be added to our heating fund.
